That's the message Love, Builder of Worlds shares in their new alte, afro-trance single, ‘Omítórera’.

The nature enthusiast and Yorùbá spiritualist artist initially created the song as an offering to Yorùbá orishá Osun on the first day of 2026. Though intended to remain as an instrumental, Omítórera evolved into a soundscape and spiritual experience that inspired Love to pair the instrumental with a digital photo exhibition showcasing their landscape photography which largely features bodies of water that same day - this was the first iteration of 'Omítórera' exclusive to Love, Builder of Worlds blog

In Flowing for freedom Love, Builder of Worlds shares "My ancestors shared with me that water is enough and I believe them." and speaks to how the anti-capitalist spirit of the song has made them reconsider their approach to life.

Love shares a message of love, community and harmony with nature despite the increasing racial hatred towards African people in Ireland, their medical debt and the Irish housing crisis.

‘Omítórera’ is Love's first Yorùbá language song, and the influence of their British upbringing and the diaspora’s Afro-sexy/Afro Electro artists like SEO, brazy, DEELA, Sadboi and Theodora can be heard as the song combines fast African percussions with slow sparkly pianos that feel soothing and floaty, just like water.

'Omítórera' was re-released on 29th July 2026 after Yorùbá characters prevented the single from being distributed fully to streaming platforms like Tidal, YouTube music and others.

The song has been featured on Raidio Na Life (Ireland), Hot Press (Ireland), Extra.ie (Ireland) and Pure M Magazine (Ireland).

The single itself inspired a world of its own, leading Love, Builder of Worlds to create a 10min long short film detailing the inspiration, as well as a mixed media artwork which features a pixel art portrait of them looking on to Dublin Bay. A talented landscape photographer, the image of the Bay is taken from Love’s ‘Southside Serenity, (2024)’ - now available as a postcard for new members of their blog and on bandcamp to buy.

The blog in question exists in place of a social media presence, as Love, Builder of Worlds is a semi-anonymous artist that maintains the desire to connect with the rest of the world and share their art.

Here, visitors can also see Love document their art practice; where their process is fully transparent and well documented on their blog where they share demos, their struggles with music marketing and even the email they sent to the mixing engineer on what they wanted for the mix.

It was via this blog that Love also arranged a listening party, for which they created a playlist of songs that incorporates the essence of ‘Omítórera’ whether that be watery vibes like the first track ‘Heavy (But Not In Wait)’ by L’Rain, dance tracks like ‘Don’t Feel Real’ by Aka Kelzz or nature appreciation tracks like ‘Earth’s Castaways’ by Iniko. Love’s musical inspiration spans the African diaspora and it is reflected in their approach to the soundscape, song offering and philosophy that is their latest single Omítórera.
