Covid Safe Events - June 2025

Happy Pride everyone! This weekend a variety of virtual covid safe events are taking place and we have curated our favourites.
Before we share the events exciting news from us!
We are hosting a Pride Event next month - Virtual Open Mic Saturday 5th July 7pm (UTC+ 1)
If you are an artist and would like to share your art before the event you are welcome to do so. Sharing on the night is also highly encouraged and welcome.
We are celebrating Pride and will have queer artists share, it will be a great chance to meet some of our new contributors.

Friday 20th June
The Cutlery Drawer - Grief Circle
A grief circle is a way to talk about your grief together during a set space and time limit. Friday 20th June 7pm (UTC+1)
Grief circles are a chance to talk about your grief in a non-judgmental and non-carceral space. The Cutlery Drawer invites you to share whatever you feel like sharing – it could be how you feel about grief, things helping your grief, working out some feelings, etc.
Non-carceral meaning they promise not to call the police or other authorities.
Alber will be hosting the Grief Circle and Love, Builder of Worlds will be hosting a black/African only space within the Grief Circle.

Club Slow Jam is a virtual dance event hosted by dance artiste J (aka DancesWithSpirit) Saturday 21st June 10pm (UTC+1).
Club Slow Jam invites you to slow down, connect with your body's story, commune with Spirit and celebrate Pride in being whoever you are. This will be a choreography-free zone: no dance experience required and all genders/physical ability/body sizes are welcome.
Club Slow Jam is exclusively for Black and mixed-race Black adults (18+). The space will prioritise the wellbeing and experiences of those who are Disabled and/or chronically ill, TLGBQ+ folx and women/transfeminine people, particularly those left isolated by the ongoing Covid19 pandemic.

June Crip Arts Gathering
Crip Arts Gatherings are facilitated by QueerCrip, mad, AuDHD artist-filmmaker & RestFest founder Bec Miriam.
Get TicketsCrip Arts Gathering is a virtual event during where Disabled, Deaf, chronically ill, Neurodivergent, mentally ill, and/or mad folks, have the opportunity to make art, and share our creations with one another in a relaxed, warm, supportive environment. This month's event will take place Sunday 22nd June 7.30pm (UTC+1)
